Faculty of Informatics, Burapha University Receives BestPaper Award at IEEE/ACIS SNPD 2026 
The Faculty of Informatics, Burapha University, is pleasedto announce that its research team has received the Best Paper Award at the 34th
at the 34thIEEE/ACIS International Conference on Software Engineering, Artificial
Intelligence, Networking and Parallel/Distributed Computing (SNPD 2026). 
The conference was held in Okayama, Japan, from 22to 24
August 2026, bringing together researchers and scholars in

This achievement resulted from an international researchcollaboration between the Faculty of Informatics, Burapha University, Thailand,
and the Tokyo University of Technology, Japan, under the Memorandum of
under the Memorandum ofUnderstanding (MOU) between the two institutions. 
The research proposes three geometric perspectives forexplaining the results of Mean-Shift-based outlier detection. Its aim is to
make it clearer why particular observations are identified as outliers. This
work contributes to the advancement of Explainable Artificial Intelligence
(XAI) by improving the transparency, interpretability, and trustworthiness of
by improving the transparency, interpretability, and trustworthiness ofAI-based data-analysis systems. 
Receiving the Best Paper Award reflects the quality,originality, and academic impact of the research, as well as the strength of
the continuing academic partnership between Burapha University and Tokyo
University of Technology.
The Faculty of Informatics congratulates all authors on thisdistinguished international achievement and looks forward to further
collaborative research that advances artificial intelligence, data analytics,
