Informatics BUU Showcases 11 Research Papers at ICTC 2026 in South Korea, Strengthening Its Global Research Presence
The Faculty of Informatics, Burapha University, led by Asst. Prof. Pusit Kulkasem, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics, together with a delegation of 10 faculty members and staff, participated in The 17th International Conference on ICT Convergence (ICTC 2026), held from October 14–16, 2026, at the Sheraton Hotel Jeju, Jeju Island, Republic of Korea.
A significant highlight of the conference was the acceptance of 11 research papers from the Faculty of Informatics for publication and presentation at this international academic forum. The accepted papers cover a wide range of research areas, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, digital applications in healthcare and environmental monitoring, Large Language Models (LLMs), image processing, and intelligent systems. The papers are expected to be published in IEEE Xplore, subject to the conference’s publication procedures.
ICTC 2026 is an international academic conference organized by the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences (KICS), in cooperation with the IEEE Communications Society and the IEICE Communications Society. The conference provides a platform for researchers, academics, and technology experts from around the world to exchange knowledge, present research advancements, and strengthen international collaboration in information and communication technologies.
The Faculty’s participation in ICTC 2026 reflects its continued commitment to advancing high-quality research and innovation on a global scale.
